Rava Kichdi – Rava Pongal – Sooji Khichadi

Rava Kichdi is a very famous South Indian breakfast. It’s greasy and the soft texture literally melts in the mouth. Its different from the usual rava upma that we make.It is best when served with Tiffin Sambar and Coconut chutney. It can be given to kids as well. The vegetables that we add makes it colourful and appealing to kids.

Now to the recipe…

Serve hot with sambar and chutney.

Tips:

  1. You can dry roast the rava before using it. I used roasted rava, so skipped this step.
  2. Adding ghee gives it a texture that melts in the mouth. So dont skip to add..
