Coconut Burfi is a very simple and quick to make sweet. With Diwali coming up, I have just started my preparations. This can be made in about 30 mins and suits well if u are looking for a quick one. All u need are simple ingredients. There are a few variations that u can try too – browse down to the tips section. This is a traditional version. Kunukku Recipe – Adai Mavu Kunukku

Kunukku is a simple deep fried snack made with rice and lentils. This is made from left over adai batter. If u have some left over adai batter this can be made in no time. So next time when u grind adai batter, plan to keep a small amount of it separately for this humble evening or after school snack. U might have to add a little bit of water to make adai, so it is better to keep aside some of the batter if u want to make this snack. I have used this Adai Batter as the base. Kunukku can also be made with urad dal batter. Shall post that recipe soon 🙂
