Kollu / Horsegram has a lot of health benefits, especially in weight reduction. When I made this batch of Kollu Podi, nobody at home even realised that it was made out of kollu. Now this has become a normal podi variety for idli/dosa including Idli Milagai Podi & Sesame Milagai Podi.
Do check my Kollu Chutney too.

Vazhakkai Chips – Raw Banana Chips
April 3, 2016 Snacks / Starters, Tamil New Year Recipes, Vazhakkai/Raw Banana
-
Vazhakkai Chips is an easy snack to make at home. I had been wanting to make Vazhakkai Chips since a long time. Unfortunately, the raw banana that we get here has a slight fruity flavour, may be because of the transportation time. But this time, it was really good so immediately made a batch of chips and it really vanished in no time. Not much effort is needed in making this, u just need to peel, slice, fry and season the Vazhakki Chips with salt and chilli powder.
