Moong Dal Khichdi – Dal Khichdi
July 20, 2017 Bachelor Friendly Recipes, Rice Varieties

Moong Dal Khichdi is a recent favourite! I really loved it when we had it in a Rajasthani restaurant in Chennai. The flavours were subtle and the khichdi’s consistency was more like a porridge, making it just melt in the mouth. This one is quite different from the Dal Khichdi which is made from moong beans. Its a kids friendly recipe. Am in the look out for some one pot meal when I run out of time. This suits perfectly. All u need is to saute a few ingredients and cook it along with rice and moong dal. Thats it! Yummy and simple meal will be ready in no time! All the bachelors out there would find this very handy and useful 🙂

U can make it as onion rava too. The best combo for this would be coconut chutney.
