What to cook today is a million dollar question for a cooking woman everyday. Dont worry I am one among you all too. To ease that, here is a collection of Indian Lunch Menu Ideas for everyday cooking. Some menus might be quite ellaborate (made when I find time). Mostly it would be a simple menu & easy to follow. I thought I should have a one stop space to refer anytime and hence this post. 🙂

  • Veg Pulao, Jeera Aloo
  • Tawa Toasted Paneer (tikka style – Recipe HERE)
    Masoor Dal Soup – Pressure cook masoor dal with hing, turmeric. Temper with jeera, salt, chilli powder. Avocado Egg Salad – No fancy dressing. Just seasoned with salt, crushed pepper, paprika & 1/2 a lemon!

Classic Lunch Menu Diet Lunch Menu

  • Veg Sandwich – Green chutney + sliced onion, tomato, cucumber, potato & cheese. Grilled in a toaster.
  • Zucchini Fry – 1 Sliced zucchini tossed in a tsp of olive oil in high flame for 5 Mins and finally seasoned with chilli/garlic flakes & salt!
    Fruit Salad – 1/2 an apple, 1/2 a banana, a handful of grapes, sliced and topped with a drizzle of jaggery syrup!
    I am a huge fan of jaggery syrup. I keep in handy always & even use it as a substitute for sugar in tea. Rich in iron, especially for us ????
    Millet Curd Rice – Used barnyard millet. Nothing fancy, just usual curd rice with crushed mor milagai added to it. So skipped the pickle..
