Pineapple Kesari – How to make Pineapple Kesari

May 28, 2020 Sweets/Desserts  One comment

Pineapple Kesari has been on my to-do list since a long time. Made it finally. I actually admire the simplicity of this sweet, which always tops the list among “n” number of sweets. Not much ghee required, not time consuming, yet a super hit all the time. The addition of pineapple creates the magic here. Love the flavour and aroma of pineapple. I have a variety of kesari recipes here. Click HERE to see.. If you do not have food colour do not worry, I have made it with a pinch of turmeric powder which worked out well. The moment my family members are up in the morning, the first question would be what’s for lunch? One such day, when I had nothing in mind, made this humble Thengai Thogayal for rice and paired it with some Vadai. Truly divine. Its an easy meal to cook & not the usual menu to satisfy the family 🙂  And if u ask me why this Coconut Thuvayal, I had nothing else handy to grind. HAHA

Banana, walnut and cinnamon are an excellent combo. This Banana Walnut Bread is an easy, moist & flavourful bread that can be made quickly. I am always happy to bake banana based recipes as it uses up a couple of over ripe bananas which is usually available at home. Honestly this tasted much much better than the store bought ones.

Gobi 65 is Chotu’s favourite. Anytime we go to a restaurant he would ask for this. Have tried making this at home many times but could not convince him. He loved the restaurant style ones.. Then I realised that he was attracted by the red colour and here is the recipe – WITHOUT any artificial colors though. He loved it!!  Am sure your kids would like this too… This Onion Pakoda is always a hit at home too.
