Cabbage Pakoda is an all-time favourite in my family. Winter has started and it’s getting colder and colder these days. What would you crave for, on a day like this? Hot Pakodas and a cup of coffee or tea? I would love to have this combo!! This Cabbage Pakoda is a crispy pakoda which am sure your kids would definitely ask for more. Even kids who are fussy about eating vegetables would like to eat it in this form. Onion Pakoda is another favourite.

Thandai – this was totally a new term to me until I started blogging. I had no clue what it was. But this recipe would be circulating in the food blogging world during Maha Sivaratri or during Holi. Out of curiosity I found out what it was. I should say it is a very interesting and flavourful drink not only for the festival but also as a perfect summer treat. 7 Cup Burfi is an easy sweet to make for Diwali or any other special occasion. This is the first sweet I successfully made without my mom’s help after marriage. The procedure is very simple too. No sugar consistency is needed. You just need to mix 7 cups of ingredients together and slowly cook it. I pretty much told the recipe here itself!! Now u know why it is called 7 Cup Burfi. Horlicks Burfi! Yes You read it right! 🙂 This Burfi is a melt in the mouth burfi made with besan/chickpea flour as the base along with Horlicks. See tips section if you are not a fan of Horlicks. Gobi 65 is Chotu’s favourite. Anytime we go to a restaurant he would ask for this. Have tried making this at home many times but could not convince him. He loved the restaurant style ones.. Then I realised that he was attracted by the red colour and here is the recipe – WITHOUT any artificial colors though. He loved it!! Poha Chivda is nothing but Poha Mixture. In normal mixture Om Podi is the base, here Poha/Aval is the base. This is a super simple snack for Diwali. It can be made very quickly and it gets finished quickly too. hehehe.. All u need is to keep all the ingredients ready before u start deep frying.
