Hot summer days call for some cool refreshing drinks. This Cucumber Cooler is one such fortifying drink with cucumbers and a flavour of mint & lime. This is great on a dry, hot summer day or after a tired workout. It gives you so much energy and re-hydrates the body. So beat the heat with this simple & easy cucumber cooler!!!
Now to the recipe..
[Preparation Time-10 mins : Cooking Time- NIL]
Ingredients:
- Cucumber – 1
- Mint Leaves – 5 to 6
- Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
- Lime juice – from 1/2 a lemon
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Salt – a pinch
- Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
- Water – as needed
Method:
- Peel and wash the cucumber. Chop them into cubes and blend it in a blender it smoothly along with ginger, fresh mint leaves, water, sugar & salt.
- Add pepper powder & lime juice and whip once.
Refreshing Cucumber Cooler is ready.
Serve chilled.
Tips:
- Crush a few ice cubes and blend along with the other ingredients.
- U can freeze the cucumber chunks and blend for a chilled drink.
- Skip the pepper powder as per your taste.
- U can add a tbsp of honey instead of sugar.
