Strawberry Ice Cream – Ice Cream Recipes

Strawberries are in season. I am not a big fan of strawberries as such, just like the look of it and its attractive colour. But I love the smell and flavour in the Strawberry Ice Cream. This is yet another simple no churn ice cream. U dont need an ice cream machine or hand blender, a normal mixie jar would do the job perfectly. And also no need to whip it every 2 hours unlike this Custard Powder Ice Cream. Easy is it not!?! Utilise the summer/strawberry season and enjoy! 🙂

Here is the video..

Now to the recipe…

[Preparation Time-10 mins : Freezing Time- 6-8 hrs or overnight ]

Strawberry Ice Cream Ingredients:

  • Whipping Cream – 1 cup

Method:

  • Take whipping cream, condensed milk and strawberries in a mixer. Just pulse in 2-3 times until thick and creamy. The strawberries would grind very easily.

  • Add finely chopped strawberries. This step is purely optional. Mix it and cover with a kitchen foil. Freeze for 6-8 hours or overnight. Once it is set leave it outside for 5 mins and then scoop out.

Thats it! Strawberry Ice Cream is ready!

Scoop and enjoy!

Tips:

  1. This ice cream does not require to be blended in between freezing. No ice crystals will be formed in this method and it will be very creamy.
  2. Adding chopped strawberries is totally optional. We just love the small chunks in between.
  3. Adjust condensed milk according to the sweetness of strawberries.
  4. Use whipping cream with a minimum fat content of 35%
