Method:
- Take butter in a pan. Add chopped garlic to add & saute till the raw smell goes off. Add corn flour and mix in low-medium flame.
- Once u mix the corn flour, It will look like a paste. Add boiled and cooled milk to this and stir continuously. Make sure there are no lumps.
- It will start to thicken. At this stage add grated cheese and mix. Bring it to a boil, add oregano & pepper powder and mix.
Switch off the flame and finally add salt.
That’s it!! Creamy & yummy white sauce is ready.
Tips:
- I have added oregano, u can add seasoning of your choice like dried basil, parsley etc..
- U can add chilli flakes too.
- After adding the corn flour, keep the flame in low-medium and stir continuously to avoid any lumps.
- U can substitute corn flour with all purpose flour.
- This sauce thickens faster after it cools down. If it becomes too thick add some milk and heat before serving.
