As winter has started we definitely need some soups or snacks recipes to cope with the weather. This Cheese Rice Balls is a damn easy and tempting recipe made with left over rice, good amount of veggies and cheese. This was a super hit at home. Am sure it will not only impress the kids but the adults too. However carefully I cook, I will be left with some rice. So this is a perfect way to use it up. Agree?!? Recipe with video 🙂

Do check my Rice Pakoda recipe which is also a saviour to use up left-over rice.

Mozzarella Sticks – Homemade Cheese Sticks

May 17, 2015 Kids BaySnacks / Starters  23 comments

Cheese is a favourite among kids and even adults. Chotu just loves the Mozzarella Sticks that we get in Domino’s. It is one of our family favourites, among the limited vegetarian options that we are left with.. I have always wanted to try to make these cheese sticks at home, but was a little skeptical to try as I felt the cheese would ooze out and would turn into a disaster. I saw this recipe in a cook book and was really convinced to try at home, since it was mentioned to freeze the mozzarella sticks before frying. It did come out well and was a super hit at home.

My personal favourite would be Paneer Butter Masala, Kadai Paneer … But this time I served with Dum Aloo (recipe coming soon). Its a perfect lunch box menu too. I usually make this when we do not want to have the usual rice, kuzhambu and veggie combo. This is a good alternative to it and super quick to make!!
