Its been quite some time since I posted a lunch menu. This is yet another simple South Indian Lunch Menu with Mochai Murungai Kulambu, Keerai Kootu & Potato Puttu. I had some dried mochai which I did not use for a long time. So soaked it the previous night and made this wholesome lunch menu. Mochai Kulambu goes well with any kootu and/or a suttle dry curry. Have given other options below.
Now to the recipes..

Quick Tips:
- Soak the mochai the previous night if u are using dried ones. If fresh, skip this step. Pressure cook mochai along with potatoes in a pressure cooker. I put the potatoes in the cooker and kept the mochai in a bowl. In another cooker, cook moong dal & spinach.
- Meanwhile I finished the dry roasting/grinding works for both the kulambu and kootu. Get the tamarind extract and start cooking the drumsticks. Once the cooker releases add the mochai to it and temper it. Kulambu ready.
- Finish the keerai kootu by adding the coconut paste. Temper it. Kootu ready.
- Chop onions and peel the potatoes/grate or mash it. Finish off the potato puttu. Finally make the rice so that it will be hot to serve
- I fried some papad and vathal too..
Other suggestions:
U can make Chow Chow Kootu or Raw Banana Puttu or Keerai Poriyal.
Puli Kulambu, Poondu Kulambu or Arachuvitta Vathakulambu will go well with the above combo veggies.
