Strawberry Yogurt Popsicle

Popsicle is nothing but an ice lolly/kuchi ice. As summer is approaching, am sure everybody is on the look out for something cold and refreshing to beat the heat. This Strawberry Yogurt Popsicle is an easy to make fresh fruit popsicle. Homemade popsicles are always the best and the flavour options are just endless. So treat your kids this summer with these homemade beauties !!! 🙂

Now to the recipe..

[Preparation Time-10 mins : Freezing Time- Min 8 hours]

Ingredients:

  • Strawberry – 12 to 15 nos
  • Blueberry – 1/4 cup(optional)
  • Yogurt – 1/4 cup
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp (optional)

Method:

  • Wash the strawberries & blueberries and keep it ready. Take a blender and add the berries, yogurt, milk & sugar.

  • Blend it until smooth. Pour it into popsicle moulds and cover it. Freeze it atleast for 8 hours or prefferably over night.

  • Take it out of the freezer & hold the outer side of the mould under tap water. This is to get the popsicles out of the mould easily. Take the popsicles out of the mould carefully and serve immediately

Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles are ready. Serve it freezing cold and enjoy!!!

Tips:

  1. Blueberries are optional. U can skip them and make them with strawberry alone too.
  2. The flavours are endless. U can use any fruit of your choice.
  3. Do not worry if u dont have a popsicle mould. Use disposable cups, cover them with kitchen foil and pierce in some popsicle/icecream sticks to make it.
  4. While demoulding, make sure to wash the outer layer of the mould. It will help to get the popsicles easily.
  5. Allow the strawberry yogurt popsicles to set for a minimum of 8 hours.
