There are loads of combinations with which you can make these savoury muffins. This is a simple yet yummy, cheesy muffin recipe with a flavour of garlic & herbs. Am sure kids would grab these in seconds!!! 🙂

Now to the recipe…

[Preparation Time-10 mins : Cooking Time- 20 mins]

  • Gently mix the dry & wet ingredients so that they form a thick batter. Line a muffin tray with muffin liners. Scoop in the batter upto 3/4th level in each muffin liner and finally garnish with some grated cheese. Bake this for 18-20 mins or until it is golden brown on the top. Cool completely on a wire rack before storing in air tight containers.

Thats it!!! Cheesy garlic savoury muffins are ready!!!

Serve hot or cold as an evening snack. Chotu loved to have these after school.

  1. I used cheddar cheese & parmesan cheese. U can skip parmesan cheese and use any cheese of your choice.
  2. U can use a combination of wheat flour & all purpose flour.
  3. If the muffin batter it too thick or dry, add a splash of milk to get the right consistency.
  4. Be careful while adding salt as both the cheeses have salt in it.
  5. U can add some finely chopped green chilies or chilli flakes for a more spicier version.
