Green Sandwich Chutney is a simple chutney that comes handy while making sandwiches. I totally love the fresh flavour of coriander and mint leaves. This can be made previously and stored in the fridge. It stays fresh for 4-5 days only though. All u need are a few ingredients, whip it smooth with little water and Tadaa! Sandwich Chutney ready! U can smear it on bread and make “n” number of sandwich varieties. 🙂 I recently made Paneer Sandwich with this chutney.
Here is the recipe..
[Preparation Time-5 mins : Cooking Time- NIL ]
Sandwich Chutney Ingredients:
- Coriander leaves – 1 cup
- Mint leaves – 1/2 cup
- Salt – as needed
- Chaat masala powder – 1/2 tsp
- Green chillies – 2
- Ginger – 1 inch piece
- Lemon – Just a 1/4 wedge
Method:
- Take washed and cleaned coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger, green chillies, salt & chaat masala powder in a mixer and grind it into a smooth paste with little water. Finally add lemon juice from just a 1/4 wedge of a lemon.
Thats it! Flavourful Green Sandwich Chutney is ready!
Store in the fridge for future use.
Tips:
- Adjust green chillies according to your taste buds.
- Do not add more water to the chutney, as it will make the bread soggy and taste bland.
- This chutney stays good for 4-5 days in the refrigerator.
