Dal is a side dish that I make almost everyday at home. Be it for rice or roti, Dal is a must for us!! This Dal Palak is an easy day-to-day recipe that can be made very quickly. I make variations in the tempering and use different varieties of dal. This Dal Palak has an extra nutritional value due to the addition of palak/spinach. Any Sabji along with dal for roti is the usual lunch menu during weekdays! Do check my Sabji recipes HERE ..

Now to the recipe..

Dal Palak My Magic Pan

  1. I have used toor dal and masoor dal. U can make this Dal Palak with just toor dal too.
  2. Since palak is used, I do not prefer to add curry leaves/coriander leaves.
  3. This Dal Palak can be served as a soup too.
