Murungai Keerai or Drumstick Leaves is very well known for its health benefits. It is rich in iron, calcium and very good for lactating mothers. There is a drumstick tree in my mom’s place. Its so easy to enjoy the benefits of drumstick leaves quite often. But here for me, I rarely get it. Was really excited to buy it from our Indian shop last week. It was so fresh and green 🙂

Peanut Butter Fudge is a simple, no bake sweet treat for any occasion. If u love peanut butter this one is for u. It is the most easiest fudge with just 3 ingredients. I have already posted a No Bake Biscuit Cake earlier. This one is quite similar to it, U just have to heat a couple of ingredients, add sugar and refrigerate it. Tadaaa!! Peanut Butter Fudge will be ready!! Though it hardly takes 10 mins to make it, the boring part is to let it set in the fridge.

Chow Chow Fry – Chayote Fry
-
Chayote, known as chow chow in tamil is usually made as a kootu in any South Indian household. I make this Chow Chow Fry quite often than kootu. This fry goes well with roti and rice. So whenever I make this, Chotu has it with rice and we have it as a roti wrap for lunch. Two in one purpose solved right?!? This veggie takes very less time to cook and is a super easy recipe.
Do try my Chow Chow Chutney too!!

It is yet another simple snack to be enjoyed during monsoon or any weather for that matter with a hot cup of tea or coffee. I had this Corn Pakoda with hot Masala Chai.. It was absolutely divine!! Tomato Rasam – Thakkali Rasam

Rasam is always a breeze to make. This Tomato Rasam is no exception to it. The quickest and the most favourite lunch menu for us would be rasam and potato fry. I normally do not store rasam powder as we prefer to have rasam with freshly ground powder. The freshly ground powder does add magic to the rasam. I just make sure to have some minor changes in my rasam powder every time I make it. This Tomato Rasam is also an easy, flavourful and quick rasam.

Making Parotta at home was a long time dream for me. This Lachha Paratha is a layered paratha made with whole wheat flour. We used to buy frozen parathas earlier. But after trying this Lachha Paratha, no more buying frozen ones. These are much healthier and easier to make too.. Goes well with any gravy side dish.
