To my surprise, Chotu just loved this!! He did like the Mochai Sundal, but this one I had no hopes as he does not have a sweet tooth like me. But looks like his taste buds are changing now. 🙂

Mochai Sundal – Field Beans Sundal

October 12, 2015 Navaratri SpecialPillayar Chathurthi Recipes  7 comments

Mochai known as field beans in english is my favourite. Unfortunately we do not get fresh ones here. So have to use these dried field beans. This Mochai Sundal is a healthy, flavourful and yummy sundal for Navaratri. This can be had as an evening snack too. A small bowl of this and a glass of milk would be really filling for kids after coming back from school. My friend Rani generously gave me a box of this field beans she had got it from India. Thanks to her!!

I was actually wondering if it would be good enough like the fresh ones, but the moment it got cooked the whole house was filled with a wonderful aroma!!
