The word tomato thokku/tomato pickle makes me drool!! Slurp!! Its such a multi-purpose side dish that can be had with almost anything and everything!!. Tomato thokku or Thakkali thokku is a simple side dish that goes with chapathi, poori, idli, dosa and the list goes on…. It’s my favorite since child hood. This thokku along with Poori would be the default menu that I would ask Amma to make on my birthday.
