Spicy Ammini Kozhukattai is an easy kozhukattai variety. It can be made sweet or spicy. Having posted 2 sweet kozhukattais, thought of posting this spicy one. If u dont have a sweet tooth unlike me, this is specially for you!! This is very easy to make too. Usually this is done with the left over dough after making Mothagam. This serves as a good tea time snack as well..

Now to the recipe…

  • It will become thick very quickly. Mix until it forms like a dough. This will take a few mins only. Transfer it to a wide bowl and press it with your hands to form a smooth dough while it is still warm. Keep it covered.

  • Grease your hands with little oil. Take a very small sized dough and make a small ball. Make the same with the rest of the dough. Steam it in an idli pot or steamer for 7-8 mins.
