Peas Pulao is a mild and easy one pot meal. It is a flavourful pulao variety made with sweet and succulent peas. Goes well with any gravy or a even a simple raita and pickle. It is a perfect lunch box recipe or even for picnics. I recently made this for a get together at home. With simple ingredients, this Peas Pulao can be made in a jiffy.

Now to the recipe…

Tips:

  1. U can use frozen or fresh peas. I have used frozen peas. Make sure to use good quality peas.
  2. The ratio between rice and water is 1:1.5 cups. Do not add more water. Else the Peas Pulao will turn mushy.
  3. Grinding corainder leaves along with green chillies, ginger and garlic gives a very nice aroma and flavour to the Peas Pulao.
