Chilli Parotta is a popular fast food/street food in TamilNadu. I would say the road side shops serve tastier Chilli Parotta than the restaurants. They call it Kothu Parotta. It is a mix of bite sized pieces of parotta along with onion, capsicum & sauces. It is very easy to make at home if u have frozen parottas in hand. U can add or have some Veg Kurma along with it too.

Potato Broad-Beans Fry – Potato Recipes
February 27, 2014 Beans, Dry Sabji, NO Onion NO Garlic, Potato Recipes

I purposely prepare a little extra & use the left over sabji to make a grilled sandwich. Yumm!! Do check my entire Potato Recipes collection HERE.

Vathakuzhambu is our family favourite. This arachuvitta vathakuzhambu is a very easy, flavourful kuzhambu with freshly ground spices and the goodness of manathakkali vathal (black nightshade/wonder berry). Its divine when served with hot steamed rice along with a dollop of gingely oil. The best combo would be with curd rice 🙂 My personal favourite is this Mochai Kuzhambu.

This No Bake Choco-Nutty Biscuit Cake is one simple recipe that I used to make during my childhood days. Amma would happily permit me to make this as it does not involve much cooking, ONLY refrigerating :). Its so easy that even a kid can make with minimum help from a grown-up. A perfect dessert for kids birthday parties too !!! Do try my Peanut Butter Fudge which is also a no bake cake.
