Oats Uthappam – Instant Oats Uttappam

March 4, 2014 Breakfast/DinnerOats Recipes  2 comments

Dosa / Uthappam is a common breakfast/dinner item in any South Indian household. I love to include oats in our diet as it is a very good source of fiber & iron. I came across this Oats Uthappam recipe in a cook-book and wanted to try this immediately. If you are bored with oats porridge or the normal dosa’s then this is the best option.

Now to the recipe…

  • The batter should be in the same consistency of a normal dosa batter. Heat a tawa and pour a laddle full of batter and spread a little. It should be in the same thickness of a normal uthappam. Drizzle some oil and cook in medium flame and flip to the other side. Once cooked remove it from the tawa & repeat the process for more Oats Uthappams.
