Oats Upma is my favourite, though I am not a big fan of oats(the porridge variety) I like this upma. This is a healthy breakfast/dinner recipe which can be made in a jiffy. Its kids friendly too. It supplies a steady stream of energy that kids require especially to kick start the day. Loaded with vegetables this is completely nutritious.

Now to the recipe.

Tips:

  1. Use vegetables of your choice like potato, beans, capsicum..
  2. Do not exceed the amount of water as mentioned, else the upma will be soggy.
  3. U can add chilli powder for a colourful upma.
  4. U can add lemon juice for a tangy flavor.
