  • Add the coarsely ground dates mixture and nuts mixture. Saute in low flame for a few mins or until well combined. This will not take more than 3-5 mins. It should not stick to the pan. Let it cool. Take a small amount of mixture and shape it into balls while it is still warm.

Tips:

  1. There is no specific measurement to make this Dry Fruits Laddu. U can increase or reduce each dry fruit or nut according to your taste and availability.
  2. U can add raisins along with dates and figs too.
  3. U can add a pinch of cardamom powder and make the laddu. I have not added any as I wanted it as is.
  4. The above measurements yields 12-15 laddus.
  5. This does not require much ghee, just a tsp would do.
  6. While shaping the laddus, ghee is not required as it will not stick to your palms.
  7. This stores well for 4-5 days in room temperature. Am sure it will be finished by then 🙂

PS: Post updated with video – 4/2/17 🙂
