Homemade Chocolate – Easy Chocolate Recipe

HomemadeChocolate_0521

Homemade Chocolate has been in my to do & trial list since a long time. I have tried making it 3 times using various methods – with milk powder, single string sugar consistency, microwave version!! And all of it has been a super flop!! It was not presentable and refused to leave the mould, but it did not go waste!!  After all the attempts, finally this version worked well. This is a simple, no fail process with just 3 ingredients. If u do not like a coconut flavoured chocolate, u might not like this. To me it tasted like a smoother, no bits version of Bounty Chocolate. If u like Bounty, or coconut flavour in your chocolate then GO for it!!

Will sure...

Garlic Bread – Dominos Style Garlic Bread

GarlicBread_0617

Chotu is a big big fan of the Garlic Bread that we get in Dominos (India). Whenever we are on a vacation, he would love to have it as a main course rather than as a side. I have been wanting to try to make this at home since a very long time as the Garlic Bread that we get here (UK) is totally different from the one that we get there! After a lot of googling, tried the recipe which I adapted from cooking shooking show. I was a bit sceptical to use the MONSTER called yeast, but trust me it is not as bad as I thought.  It really helps to get a soft & fluffy textured Garlic Bread similar to the ones that we get in restaurants. I managed to make a video too. Am super-duper happy as I passed Chotu’s inspection with distinction!! hehehehee

It can be made in less than 2 mins (depending upon the power of your microwave), perfect small sized serving & is eggless!! Cant ask for more! Right?!? I just topped my mug cakes with white choc chips. If u want to use a cream cheese frosting – check HERE. U can even top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Banana Walnut Bread

Banana, walnut and cinnamon are an excellent combo. This Banana Walnut Bread is an easy, moist & flavourful bread that can be made quickly. I am always happy to bake banana based recipes as it uses up a couple of over ripe bananas which is usually available at home. Honestly this tasted much much better than the store bought ones.

Peanut Butter Fudge is a simple, no bake sweet treat for any occasion. If u love peanut butter this one is for u. It is the most easiest fudge with just 3 ingredients. I have already posted a No Bake Biscuit Cake earlier. This one is quite similar to it, U just have to heat a couple of ingredients, add sugar and refrigerate it. Tadaaa!! Peanut Butter Fudge will be ready!! Though it hardly takes 10 mins to make it, the boring part is to let it set in the fridge.

Yay!! I made Christmas Cake successfully!! Making this Christmas Fruit Cake was a long time dream for me!! I feel as if I have finished Ph.D in baking!!  I love fruit cake, the aroma, the sweetness and slightly tangy taste from the dry fruits just drives me crazy. I never thought it would be so easy to make this Christmas cake. Traditionally the dry fruits are soaked in alcohol for many days and then the cake is made. This is a NO-ALCOHOL recipe. Moreover, it is eggless too. I saw this recipe in joy of baking and tweaked it a bit according to our taste buds.

I am really very happy to share this No-Alcohol, eggless fruit cake. Post updated with video :)
