Baby Corn Fingers – Baby Corn Golden Fry

Finger foods are always a hit among kids. This Baby Corn Fingers is one such example. Ever since I made Baby Corn Manchurian, Chotu has become a fan of baby corn. This baby corn fingers is an easy, crispy snack perfect for tea time or when kids come back from school.

Now to the recipe…

Baby Corn Fingers My Magic Pan

[Preparation Time-10 mins : Cooking Time- 20 mins]

Baby Corn Fingers Ingredients:

  • Baby Corn – 10 to 15 nos
  • Maida(All Purpose flour) – 4 tbsp
  • Corn Flour – 1 tbsp
  • Rice Flour – 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat Masala Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – as required
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Oil – to fry

Method:

  • Wash and trim the edges of baby corn. Pressure cook with salt & turmeric powder for 3 whistles. Drain the water & keep it aside.

  • Take maida, corn flour, rice flour, salt,  chilli powder, chaat masala powder, ginger garlic paste in a bowl & make a thick paste adding very less water.

  • Add the cooked baby corn pieces to the paste and mix well so that it coats the baby corns well. Heat a pan with oil enough to deep fry. Deep fry the baby corns until they are golden brown. Drain it in paper towels.

Crispy Baby Corn Fingers are ready.

Serve hot with tomato sauce.

Tips:

  1. U can reduce the amount of chilli powder and add pepper powder to the paste.
  2. U can add garam masala too.
  3. U can chop the baby corns into bite size pieces and make it too..
